Call for applications for the Thesis Prize and the Youth Prize

Dear members of the French Society of Photobiology,
We are pleased to launch the call for applications for the SFPb Thesis Prize and the Young Researcher Prize . These awards reflect our commitment to promoting research in photobiology and highlighting the creativity and scientific excellence of our members.
The winners will have the opportunity to present their work during the SFPb's annual conference, a special opportunity to share their progress and engage with the community.
We strongly encourage our doctoral students and young researchers to submit their applications. We look forward to discovering your scientific contributions and innovative projects!

📌 Application criteria and procedures
🔹 Thesis Prize
Be a member of the SFPb.
Have defended his thesis between January 1, 2023 and January 31, 2025 .
File to provide:
CV (2 pages).
Complete list of publications and communications.
Summary of work (3 pages).
Thesis defense reports and rapporteurs.
Link to the PDF of the thesis.
Letter of recommendation from the thesis director (member of the SFPb).
🔹 Young Researcher Award
Be a member of the SFPb.
Be under 40 years old (parental leave taken into account: +1 year/child for maternity leave, +6 months/child for paternity leave).
File to provide:
CV (3 pages).
Presentation note of the highlights of the research activity (5 pages).
Complete list of publications and communications.
The evaluation criteria set by the CA were as follows:
· - Number of first-author publications
· - Number of publications produced in collaboration
· - Quality of the document presenting the thesis work
- Impact of the results on knowledge in photobiology
