Scholarships
Support for Early-Career Researchers
Supporting young researchers is a key mission of the French Society for Photobiology (SFPb). To this end, the Society awards grants to PhD students and postdoctoral researchers to enable them to attend conferences and summer schools, or to undertake short-term research stays in another laboratory.

Grant amounts:

National conferences: €300
-
International conferences: €500
-
Collaborative research exchanges: €500

Eligibility criteria:
-
The applicant must provide proof of PhD or postdoctoral status
-
Both the applicant and their supervisor must be members of the SFPb
-
The supervisor must provide a supporting letter
-
The application must also include the following:
For conferences:
-
A description of the event, including its relevance to photobiology
-
Submission of the abstract of the work to be presented
-
Commitment to acknowledge the SFPb in the presentation
For laboratory exchanges:
-
Description of the partner research teams
-
Description of the project
Applications may be submitted at any time. All documents should be sent to the Society’s Board at michel.sliwa@polytechnique.edu.
Applications will be reviewed, and selections made by the SFPb Board and EC.
