2025 SFPb PhD Award!

The French Society for Photobiology is pleased to announce that Morgane Moinard is the winner of the 2025 PhD Award! 🏆

Morgane obtained a bachelor’s degree in chemistry at the UFR Sciences et Techniques in Dijon, then joined the international master program Transition Metals in Molecular Chemistry (T2MC). She completed her first year in Prague as part of a double-degree program between the University of Bourgogne Franche-Comté and UCT Prague, under the supervision of Dr. Petra Menova, and her second year as an apprentice at Sanofi Aventis R&D under the supervision of Dr. Sergio Mallart. She then carried out her PhD at the Laboratoire Réactions et Génie des Procédés (LRGP, UMR 7274 CNRS-University of Lorraine) in Nancy, under the supervision of Dr. Frochot céline and Prof. Nadira Delhem (ONCOTHAI, U1189 INSERM-University of Lille), focusing on the synthesis of stable photoactivatable molecules for the targeting and treatment of ovarian cancer metastases by photodynamic therapy (PDT). She is currently continuing this research as a postdoctoral fellow within the same team.

La Société Française de Photobiologie a le plaisir d’annoncer que Morgane Moinard est la lauréate du Prix de thèse 2025 ! 🏆 

Morgane a obtenu une licence de chimie à l’UFR Sciences et Techniques de Dijon, puis elle a intégré le master international Transition Metals in Molecular Chemistry (T2MC). Elle a effectué sa première année à Prague dans le cadre d’un programme de double diplôme entre l’Université de Bourgogne Franche-Comté et l’UCT Prague, sous la supervision de Dr. Petra Menova, puis sa deuxième année en alternance chez Sanofi Aventis R&D sous la supervision de Dr. Sergio Mallart. Elle a ensuite réalisé sa thèse au Laboratoire Réactions et Génie des Procédés (LRGP, UMR 7274 CNRS-Université de Lorraine) à Nancy, sous la direction de Dr. Frochot céline et Pr. Nadira Delhem (ONCOTHAI, U1189 INSERM-Université de Lille), sur la synthèse de molécules photoactivables stables pour le ciblage et le traitement des métastases du cancer de l’ovaire par thérapie photodynamique (PDT). Elle poursuit actuellement ses recherches en post-doctorat au sein de la même équipe.
