These awards reflect our commitment to promoting research in photobiology and highlighting the creativity and scientific excellence of our members.
Awardees will have the opportunity to present their work at the SFPb Annual Meetings—a unique occasion to share their findings and engage with the community.
We strongly encourage our PhD students and early-career researchers to apply. We look forward to discovering your scientific contributions and innovative projects!

Application Criteria and Procedures
🔹 PhD Thesis Award

Must be a member of the SFPb.
-
PhD defense must have taken place between January 1, 2023, and January 31, 2025.

CV (2 pages)

Complete list of publications and presentations

Summary of research work (3 pages)

PhD defense reports and examiners’ reports

Link to the PDF of the thesis

Recommendation letter from the PhD supervisor (must be an SFPb member)

🔹 Early Career Researcher Award

Must be a member of the SFPb.

Must be under 40 years old (parental leave considered: +1 year per child for maternity leave, +6 months per child for paternity leave).
